Program Overview
Although metastatic breast cancer (MBC) is not curable, there are many effective treatments, including a number of current and emerging treatment options which are enabling women and men with MBC to live longer and better lives. Our team of national thought leaders will address key data presented during the most recent conferences focusing on breast cancer, and provide an interactive forum to discuss the latest trends and treatment options.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners who have an interest in enhancing their clinical skills in the management of MBC.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Recall current and emerging options for ER/PR+, HER2+, triple-negative and hormone-resistant MBC based on recent clinical trial findings including efficacy and safety results as well as consideration of study limitations
  2. Demonstrate appropriate application of knowledge and practice regarding the treatment of MBC in accordance with the most recent evidence-based guidelines and recommendations as well as clinical trial outcomes
  3. Recognize select open and recruiting clinical trials for ER/PR+, HER2+, or triple-negative and hormone-resistant MBC
